| Welcome all citizens of the world. The Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill is Eleanor Roosevelt’s voice and presence in the 21st century. We fully embrace Mrs. Roosevelt’s call to build a better world through far-reaching programs that touch people worldwide – to be her heart, hand, and voice in realizing a better world. Rarely has the world faced larger divisions, more momentous decisions, or more profound challenges. With the current world situation as grave as the times she faced, we need Eleanor Roosevelt’s ideals, wisdom, world vision and leadership as never before. If Eleanor Roosevelt were with us today, she would be speaking out with great effect to change the world. We invite you to join with us in doing the same. Now, as never before, the world needs Eleanor Roosevelt, first lady of the world. |
