GLW Alumnae Association
Thank you to Lindsey Goldstein, Nora Mishanec Novak, Emily O'Neill, Jocelyn Schur, Rachel Susser and Connie Wang for stepping into their leadership and taking this on.
They have begun the process of creating a GLW Alumnae Association with our first committee meeting in January. The committee is looking for how they can further support the alums with mentoring and networking opportunities, as well as how alums can contribute back to ERVK and GLW.
They want to hear your ideas about how the Alumnae Association would best benefit you. Please email Connie Wang your ideas.

Are you interested in developing the next generation of principled leaders?
Join us this summer in developing the next generation of principled leaders at the 2012 Girls' Leadership Worldwide program. We are looking for current college juniors and beyond with a strong sense of self to be influential role models for the GLW girls. We need your help to guide them in their leadership journey.
As a Group Leader, a Dorm Director or Program Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work directly with young women eager to know themselves as a leader and make a difference in their schools, their communities and the world. For more information and job descriptions, click here.
Jocelyn Schur (2004 alum) described her summer as a Group Leader as a "life-changing work experience [that] gave me the opportunity to share my passion for social justice with an inspiring group of high school girls, while also introducing me to dozens of empowered leaders committed to making a difference in the world."

Encourage a Group of Girls to Apply - Present GLW!
Many alums have asked for some help in how to present GLW to a School Club or a local organization. We have created a fun and interactive powerpoint presentation to make it easy for you.
Included in the video is our new promotional video, a script to help you with what to say, and all the info you will need. We will send you all the preparation materials and tips you need to be successful!

Referral Incentive Program
As an added incentive for alums to encourage girls to apply, we have a Referral Incentive Program where your name is included in a drawing for a $25 or $50 gift card every time you refer a girl who applies. Be sure she includes your name at the bottom of page 1 of the application to get credit.
Where Are You Now - Upcoming Alumnae Survey
We are asked often is "Where are your GLW alums now?" We hear bits of information here and there from you, but we would love to hear more. We want to know what you are up to these days? How has GLW impacted you years later?
We also want to know if there are ways we can improve the program. This information is invaluable. We are in the final steps of creating a GLW Alumnae Survey. It should be coming out in the next month or so. Please keep an eye out for it in your inbox!
