From Poughkeepsie: Take Route 9 north toward Hyde Park. When the Culinary Institute of America is on the left move into the right lane. Turn right at the traffic light on top of the hill onto Route 40A/St. Andrew's Road. At the next traffic light, make a left onto Route 9G north. ERVK will be on the right just about ¼ mile up the road.
From Taconic State Parkway Traveling North: Follow the Taconic Parkway north and pass under I-84, about 1/2 hour later take the exit for Salt Point Turnpike Route 115. Go left onto Salt Point heading west for approximately 3 miles. Take right on Route 41/Netherwood Road. (See sign Hyde Park 8 miles) Continue straight through first light. At next light, turn left onto Route 9G south where the Mobil station is on the left corner. Travel about 2 miles to the Eleanor Roosevelt Historic Site entrance.
From New York City: Take the West Side Highway that turns into the Henry Hudson Parkway north to New York City line where it becomes the Saw Mill. From the Saw Mill take the Taconic State Parkway. Follow the Taconic Parkway north and pass under I-84, about 1/2 hour later take the exit for Salt Point Turnpike Route 115. Go left onto Salt Point heading west for approximately 3 miles. Take right on Route 41/Netherwood Road. (See sign Hyde Park 8 miles) Continue straight through first light. At next light, turn left onto Route 9G south where the Mobil station is on the left corner. Travel about 2 miles to the Eleanor Roosevelt Historic Site entrance.
From Long Island: Take the Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Parkway north. Take exit 13 for Cross County west. Get off exit for Bronx River/Sprain Brook Parkway north. Stay on Sprain Brook and that becomes Taconic State Parkway north. Follow the Taconic Parkway north and pass under I-84, about 1/2 hour later take the exit for Salt Point Turnpike Route 115. Go left onto Salt Point heading west for approximately 3 miles. Take right on Route 41/Netherwood Road. (See sign Hyde Park 8 miles) Continue straight through first light. From Connecticut: Take Route 1-84 west into New York State. Take exit for Taconic State Parkway north. From New Jersey: Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Palisades, must exit from local lanes right before George Washington Bridge Plaza. Follow signs to Palisades. After about 20 minutes you will see an exit for the Anthony Wayne Recreation Center, and the lanes will split. Stay to the right. Continue to Bear Mountain Circle. Go halfway around the circle to Bear Mountain Bridge. Go left onto 9D north. Follow to 2nd traffic light and turn right on Route 301 East. Continue east to Taconic State Parkway north. Follow the Taconic Parkway north and pass under I-84, about 1/2 hour later take the exit for Salt Point Turnpike Route 115. Go left onto Salt Point heading west for approximately 3 miles. Take right on Route 41/Netherwood Road. (See sign Hyde Park 8 miles) Continue straight through first light. At next light, turn left onto Route 9G south where the Mobil station is on the left corner. Travel about 2 miles to the Eleanor Roosevelt Historic Site entrance.
From NYC/ NJ via New York Thruway: Take the Thruway north to Exit 18, New Paltz. Turn onto Route 299 east, toward Highland/ Poughkeepsie. Continue until 299 meets Route 9W and turn right onto 9W south. Follow signs for Routes 44/55 East/Mid Hudson Bridge. After crossing the bridge follow signs for Route 9 north. Take Route 9 north toward Hyde Park. When the Culinary Institute of America is on the left move into the right lane. Turn right at the traffic light on top of the hill onto Route 40A/St. Andrew's Road. At the next traffic light, make a left onto Route 9G north. ERVK will be on the right just about ¼ mile up the road, just after Frederick's Restaurant.
From Albany and Upstate NY: Take the NYS Thruway 87 south to Exit 19, Kingston and Kingston/Rhinecliff Bridge. From Albany to Kingston is approximately 45 miles. Make First right onto 28 west and follow signs to cross the Kingston/Rhinecliff Toll Bridge. Turn right onto Route 209 north. Cross the Kingston/Rhinecliff Toll Bridge. Turn right onto Route 9G south. Follow Route 9G for about 20 minutes. In Hyde Park, you will pass the Route 41 intersection. Keep traveling on Route 9G for 2 miles to the Eleanor Roosevelt Historic Site entrance.
From New England: Take Mass Turnpike 1-90 to the Taconic State Parkway south. Take exit for the Salt Point Turnpike Route 115. Go right onto Salt Point heading west for approximately 3 miles. Take right on Route 41/Netherwood Road. (See sign Hyde Park 8 miles) Continue straight through first light. At next light, turn left onto Route 9G south where the Mobil station is on the left comer. Travel about 2 miles to the Eleanor Roosevelt Historic Site entrance.
