Elder-hostel

In 1975 the Elderhostel Program was founded as a non-for-profit travel and educational
group for older adults. It currently operates programs all over the world on six continents. For more information visit www.elderhostel.org.

ERVK has developed its own set of unique Elderhostel programs. “Eleanor Roosevelt: Her Life and Works” is ERVK’s most popular program. Other programs include “Eleanor and Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Splendid Partnership” and “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.” ERVK’s faculty facilitates these informative and enjoyable programs. This staff includes scholars from colleges and universities and even people who worked with or knew Eleanor herself. The program is taught twice a year, to approximately thirty-eight senior citizens.
