Community Partnership
The Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill (ERVK) is a primary vehicle for creating partnerships to improve the ‘quality-of-life’ in the Mid-Hudson region for ethnic minorities and other underrepresented populations.
Our mission is to work in partnership with businesses, education, and human service agencies to promote social and economic growth in the Mid-Hudson region by:
· Monitoring welfare reform and regulations and the impact on
recipients of public assistance.
· Advocating for resources that open up economic
opportunities for families.· Promoting diversity in the workplace.
· Developing partnerships with schools and businesses to
enhance educational and economic opportunities for students,
particularly minorities and other underrepresented groups.
